It’s almost that time of year again – Valentine’s Day! There are several events going on in Lexington that will make you feel the love this Valentine’s Day! I’ve included over 30 events that are happening between Tuesday, February 5 and Thursday, Friday, February 14. There is something for everyone! It doesn’t matter if you are single, dating or married, have children, or just wanting to have a girl’s night!

I’ve included all the information, including the dates and times, as well as where to buy tickets. Some events require tickets to be purchased in advance, so if you want to go to one of those events, be sure to get your tickets before they sell out!

Things to Do For Valentine’s Day in Lexington, Kentucky

1. Valentines Date Night Paint Party at Ethereal Brewing

Come out on February 14th from 6:30pm to 9:00pm at Ethereal Brewery for a fun evening of crafting! To participate, purchase a ticket for one of the following items listed HERE. Once your ticket has been purchased, please email your design as soon as you can! Ticket prices include 2 beer samplers (4 beer samples per sampler) to enjoy during the class. 2. Bourbon & Chocolate at Whiskey Bear 

Join Whiskey Bear and Tim Knittel for a guided tasting of four bourbons paired with their perfect chocolate match, plus a special chocolate-washed bourbon cocktail. You’ll talk about the history and romance of bourbon as well as learn to taste the nuanced chocolate and near-chocolate flavors of bourbon. 8. 15th Annual Decadent Chocolate Valentine’s Day Event at The Mad Potter

Come out on February 14th from 6pm to 9pm for a night of romantic music, decadent chocolates, drinks and a semi-private table for you and your special someone to create your masterpiece. 19. Valentine’s Day Cheeseboard Workshop with Bourbon + Wine Pairing at The Amsden (located in Versailles)

Come celebrate an early Valentine’s Day date night learning how to assemble the perfect cheeseboard at the Amsden! Emily of Gathered Living will share her tips and recipes while demonstrating how she puts together her cheeseboards step by step. Throughout the workshop, you will taste and enjoy the cheeseboard together with three complimentary bourbon or wine pairings specifically chosen to compliment the ingredients. Each attendee will receive a take home guide to assembling their charcuterie at home, as well as access to our online guide which is frequently updated with additional recipes + tips. Begin the night with a salsa dance lesson. Two classes are happening at once: a class for those that are BRAND NEW to salsa or a class for the seasoned salsa dancers.
