It’s almost that time of year – Valentine’s Day aka the day of love! Lexington has so many amazing restaurants throughout the city, so why not eat some delicious, yummy food and at the same time support a local business?!?

The other day, I made a list of “Thing to Do in Lexington, Kentucky for Valentine’s Day,” which included about 40 events that you could take part in, whether you are single, married, dating, or have kids.

This particular list here is all about the food! I wanted to give y’all some ideas on where to celebrate for dinner. I’ve included a description about each restaurant, as well as their regular menu and/or special Valentine’s Day menu.

As always, remember that Valentine’s Day is a busy time (only seven days until the big day!), so be sure to make reservations ahead of time! Something also important to remember is that some restaurants will have their regular menus available, while others will have a special prix fixe available for that day only. Lastly, some restaurants may be even running their special menus throughout the weekend!

Where to Eat in Lexington, Kentucky for Valentine’s Day

 

1. Valentine’s Dinner at Oscar Diggs

Come out to Oscar Diggs for a special Valentines day dinner. They will be offering a three course optional dinner menu for two. Dinner will be served at 6pm and 7:30pm on Thursday the 14th. There will be one seating at 7pm on Friday the 15th. Each time slot will be limited to ten couples per time slot. Cost is $85 per couple. Reservations can be made HERE. 2. Valentine’s Day Sweet Deal at Drake’s

No Valentine’s Day reservations? No problem! Two can dine for $35 at Drake’s on Valentine’s Day. Enjoy two entrees, an appetizer and dessert to share and two glasses of champagne for a Valentine’s toast. Valentine’s Day menu can be seen HERE (Standard menu is also available).

3. Valentine’s Day at Louie’s Wine Dive & Chevy Chase Kitchen

4. Valentine’s at the West Sixth Greenroom

CRU Chefs have crafted a menu to help you reminisce the special moments in your love story.  This Wine, Dine & Be Mine experience is $55 per guest.  There will be special Chef’s Valentine’s features offered on Friday, February 15th and Saturday, February 16th as well.  Be sure to make your reservations early because they fill up fast.

6. Valentine’s Dinner at Hayden’s Stockyard Eatery

Enjoy a five course Valentine’s Dinner brought to you by Hayden’s Stockyard Eatery and the team of DaRae & Friends Catering. 15. Valentine’s Day at Merrick Inn

The Merrick Inn was built before the Civil War and completely remodeled in 1936 by the Cal Milam family. The Merrick Inn served as the manor house for one of Lexington’s finest horse farms.
