Things to Do in Lexington, Kentucky: The Week Of June 21-27, 2019

June 20, 2019

It’s the weekend again, but what do you know… more rain!! I feel like I keep saying this every week, but let’s hope the rain stays away!

Yesterday was National Martini Day, so if martinis are your thing, I highly recommend the Key Lime Martini from Blue Sushi Sake Grill at The Summit at Fritz Farm or the Pixi Stick Martini from Malone’s!

It’s an exciting weekend in the restaurant scene: Nash’s Southern Table & Bar is opening up to the public next week! Nash’s Southern Bar is brought to you by the folks behind Lyle’s BBQ. Nate’s Coffee just moved into a new location! Nate’s Coffee just opened a stand-alone location this past Thursday, June 13, at 125 Cheapside in downtown Lexington. Last but not least, Agave and Rye is opening to the public on Sunday and is located next to Jos. A. Bank on the front side of the Fayette Mall.

If that weren’t enough foodie events for you, Fayette Mall Restaurant Week starts on Monday, June 24 and goes through Saturday, June 29, 2019. At Fayette Mall Restaurant Week, you can enjoy $5 menu items at some of your favorite restaurants and snack locations at Fayette Mall and in the Plaza at Fayette Mall!

Minglewood is celebrating their third anniversary! They are also home to one of my favorite burgers – the NoLi Burger, which has melted brie, bacon orange marmalade on a 6 oz. burger!
