It’s almost that time of year – Valentine’s Day aka the day of love! Lexington has so many amazing restaurants throughout the city, so why not eat some delicious, yummy food and at the same time support a local business?!?
The other day, I made a list of “Thing to Do in Lexington, Kentucky for Valentine’s Day” and “Things to Do for Galentine’s Day.” It’s perfect whether you are single, married, dating, or have kids.
This particular list here is all about the food! I wanted to give y’all some ideas on where to celebrate for dinner. I’ve included a description about each restaurant, as well as their regular menu and/or special Valentine’s Day menu.
As always, remember that Valentine’s Day is a busy time (only three days until the big day!), so be sure to make reservations ahead of time! Something also important to remember is that some restaurants will have their regular menus available, while others will have a special prix fixe available for that day only. Lastly, some restaurants may be even running their special menus throughout the weekend!
WHERE TO EAT IN LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY FOR VALENTINE’S DAY – 2020 EDITION
1. Valentine’s Day Dinner at Mirror Twin Brewing:

Come try four different Girl Scout cookie and cider pairs to find your favorite. There will be plenty of extra boxes of cookies to buy from Troop 7344 so you can make your favorite pairing at home. Tickets are only $12! You get a flight of 4 ciders paired with 4 different kinds of Girl Scout Cookies. ALSO, the Girl Scouts who provided us with cookies will be in the taproom!! 4. Valentine’s Day at West Sixth Brewing
Come to the main taproom & brewery for Valentine’s Day this year! - Sweetheart Salad- crisp baby spinach tossed with strawberry poppyseed vinaigrette and topped with herbed goat cheese, candied pecans, and strawberries
- French Onion Soup-traditional French onion soup with Sunrise Bakery sourdough baguette and topped with melted gruyere

- Duxelles and Lobster Tail Stuffed Beef Tenderloin- topped with drawn butter and served with sautéed haricots verts and pimento cheese scalloped potatoes
