Book Benches of Lexington, Kentucky: Volume I

I don’t know how many of y’all remember Horse Mania 2000 or Horse Mania 2010? But Lexington has unveiled their newest public art project, Book Benches. Lex Arts has lots of experience with public art, such as Horse Mania in both 2000 and 2010, The Bourbon Barrel Project in 2013, and Dynamic Doors in 2003. The now-defunct UK Basketball Museum did the Wildcat Madness project in 2001. There are 36 fiberglass benches located throughout downtown Lexington that feature artistic renderings of books by Kentucky authors. The 10th Annual Beer Cheese Festival in the Birthplace of Beer Cheese – Winchester, Kentucky

This past weekend was the 10th Annual Beer Cheese Festival in downtown Winchester, Kentucky aka the birthplace of beer cheese. If you weren’t one of the 30,000 people there, then what were you actually doing with your life?!
