Bluegrass Hospitality Group’s 50th Barrel Pick of Woodford Reserve

October 5, 2017

In late September, I was invited out to OBC Kitchen for a private celebration of BHG’s 50th barrel pick of Woodford Reserve. For those that aren’t familiar, BHG stands for Bluegrass Hospitality Group. They were founded in 1998 and they own and operate six original restaurant concepts, which include: Malone’s Steakhouse (named one of the Great Steak Houses of North America), Malone’s Prime Events & Receptions, OBC Kitchen, Drake’s, Harry’s American Bar & Grill, and Aqua Sushi. NEAT: The Story of Bourbon Hometown Screening

October 3, 2017

I remember a few years ago, when I was searching one of my favorite hashtags on instagram, #sharethelex, I came across an account called @thebourbonfilm. I was immediately intrigued about a “Bourbon” film and followed the account, so I could stay in the loop if there were any updates. Every time I write a bourbon post, I feel like I have to reiterate a few things, because I have no idea if this is someone’s first time learning about bourbon…

September 18, 2017

This post was sponsored by Kroger, all thoughts and opinions are entirely my own. Easy prepare meal kits and boxes have been all the rage over the recent years. We all live busy lives, so we can’t always spend hours in the kitchen prepping and cooking meals every day. Sometimes it’s nice not to really think about it and basically have all the work done for you. No fuss. Sounds like a dream, right? Or maybe you are someone who is terrible in the kitchen and the thought of cooking dinner overwhelms you? Well, did you know that Kroger and…
