Cos Bar Grand Opening Party | The Summit at Fritz Farm

June 12, 2017

I know I’ve mentioned this before in just about every post that I’ve written about The Summit, but it truly is the place to be. I’m really impressed on what it has transformed into, and I’m excited to see the rest. Whether you are planning on shopping there or not, it’s just a great place to hang out (Plus, there are restaurants and shops in various price ranges, so there is something for every budget). There is music and always people hanging out of the green in front of Shake Shack and Steel City Pops (which just recently opened!). Just on…

Things To Do In Lexington, KY: Week of June 10-16, 2017

June 10, 2017

Sorry, y’all that this post was a little late and there isn’t much notice on “Things To Do” for Saturday, June 10. Thursday was absolutely the craziest and longest and stressful day (full moon, anyone?). Sorry, this isn’t a complete list like the others (I’ll try to add more events as the week goes on!) However, as a bonus, I’ve included some very popular events happening outside of Lexington from June 10-16 that I know you will enjoy. SAVE THE DATE: June 14 is National Bourbon Day! On May 4, 1964, Congress declared bourbon “America’s Native Spirit.” This means that to be called bourbon,…

Shop Local For Father’s Day | Gifts For Awesome Dads

June 8, 2017

Can you believe we are almost halfway through June? Seriously, where is this year going?!? With Father’s Day coming up, I figured I would put together a gift guide for your dad (also, ladies this will be good for your husband as well!) Like always, I have included products from local shops and all the items are Kentucky themed. If you don’t know already, shopping local is extremely important to me! I’ve sure if you live in Kentucky, especially Lexington, then you probably have noticed the movement, Kentucky Proud. Not only can you find these products in stores, but lots of local restaurants…

Take Your Beauty to the Next Level at Cos Bar | The Summit at Fritz Farm

June 5, 2017

For the past two months, just about every week or so more and more stores have been opening up at The Summit at Fritz Farm. Even more will be opening up throughout the summer. I’ve been really excited about this new addition to Lexington and seeing all of the fabulous stores. Upscale shops are mixed in with local shops, as well as yummy restaurants. What more could you ask for?! Some of the stores are even new to the state! I’ve been at The Summit just about every week since it officially opened at the end of April. Honestly, I just love…

Things to Do in Lexington, KY: Week of June 3-9, 2017

June 2, 2017

Even though this has been a four day week, don’t you think this has been the longest week ever?! Thank goodness it is the weekend again!! On June 1, Kentucky celebrated it’s 225th birthday and today is a glorious holiday – it is National Doughnut Day! Now go out and celebrate by eating a dozen of doughnuts! Every Friday, I plan on sharing “Things to Do” in Lexington for the upcoming week. This is not a complete list of “Things to Do,” as there are many events constantly being added, it would be impossible to keep up  with all of them….
